CAT welcomes individuals to join for membership. Individual memberships are for translators, interpreters and  translation trainers of all languages.
Approved members will be issued membership card and CAT badge;

Discounted prices for conventions, certifications and trainings;
Institutional member can have the institution listed on CAT and be reviewed globally through CAT worldwide partners.
Application process
Prepare an introduction of the applicant/institute, describing the professional background of the applicant, especially that of translation and interpretation. It is advisable to include education and training experience related to the profession if any. It is important to provide details for personal information and clearly states if information should be published. CCT (Cambridge Committee of Translation) will process applications within a month from the date of applying.
Application failure
Failed application cases have full refund. General causes for failures are
  • The required information is not properly or sufficiently provided;
  • The applicant failed to show any professionalism in translation and interpretation;
  • The institute is not in the field of translation and interpretation;
  • The applicant (individual or institutional) has crime record.
